The Toblerone van was issued in 1984.
Body castings which had been painted red for the 'Oxo' run, then yellow for the 'Maggis' run were used again, this time overpainted in beige, for the initial run of the 'Toblerone' production. Consequently, these early models had the van roof without the front edge (Type A). The roof is usually the later one with the wider ridge (Type B) to the leading edge of the roof.

Livery: (Tampo)
Van sides: Red 'TOBLERONE", small boy in brown making a 'T' with his fingers.
Cab doors: 'CHOCOLAT TOBLER BERNE' in brown.

Variations/Rarities: The brown tampo used for the figure on the side can be found in light brown, brown, or dark brown tampo. Issue 2 can have shadow effect to the 'TOBLERONE' lettering. The early type roof has also been seen.
